Hiya, everyone! We are Shane and Starr Coker, your Crossover youth pastors and it is such an honor for us to be able to serve in this way. We've been married over ten years, have three wonderful children, and our passion for students doesn't end on Sundays and Wednesdays - we're both teachers in local districts. Youth Ministry has been essential to our lives as long as we can remember and it means so much to us to be able to pour into the next generation.
Youth group should be a place where students are known, welcomed, and encouraged wherever they are in their faith. Don't worry about having it all figured out before joining us! Questions are welcome, laughter is encouraged, and at the center of everything we do is Jesus.
We can't wait to get to know each student and their families, hear their stories, and walk alongside them in their faith. Our focus in Crossover is 1 Timothy 4:12 - we want to empower each student to be an example to other believers and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
